The mission of The Garden School shall be:

1. To provide education to young children of Liberia that will

​

a. be appropriate to their physical, emotional, moral and intellectual development;

b. establish a life-long love of learning;

c. instill respect for other people regardless of tribe, language, culture, race, religion, gender, age, disability, financial and social status and place of birth;

d. develop the inclination and skills for peaceful resolution of disputes;

e. foster workplace skills and the dignity of labor;

f. encourage an appreciation for the environment and natural resources of  Liberia; and

g. instill a love for and sense of service to family; community, county and country.

 

2. To promote and publicize the importance of early childhood education in Liberia.

 

3. To train Liberian teachers in the goals and methods of early childhood education.

 

4. To advocate for the developmentally appropriate education of children in all grades.
